As big mexican food fans, we were blown away by the variety of dishes available on the menu (some of which we had never tried before). The staff were very attentive and it was nice to sample some of the sauces prior to ordering. What can I say about the jalapenos - the best we have ever tasted! The food was superb and you were not overfaced with face or refried beans, just enough ready to tackle a dessert! Will definately be visiting on more than one occasion on our next trip! The best restaurant on Lanzarote without a shadow of a doubt, the service and the food is second to none and I can't wait to be back. Have only been back in the UK for 3 days and already I am pining for the BBQ Ribs. A big Hello to Emma, Mike and Paula

We were on hols in December and found your restaurant by chance one night. We had a fabulous meal and it was so good, we went back the night before we left. Food, service and cocktails were great. We'll definitely be back the next time we're back in PDC. PS. My mum and her friend should be dining there this week.

On our 1st nite of our holiday we popped
into this lovely quaint mexican, the food is top.. we love mexican food but this is definately the best we have tasted. The young girl serving was very friendly as was all the staff... I highly recommend this Mexican Restaurant and indeed we went back for another night
of good food and we were only in Puerto Del Carmen for 5 nites. Try this out.!!

We cannot praise this restaurant enough. Not only is the food authentic and truly scrumptious but the service is second to none.

Mike and his staff make everyone feel like an honoured guest and his Margarita cocktail is to die for.

We have eaten in many restaurants all over the world but have never had such excellent service as in Emma's Cantina.

We found a real treasure when we found Emma's Cantina. Fantastic food, warm and friendly welcome - there really was no need to eat anywhere else, especially as you actually got Paul eating spicy food and guacamole! Thank you all - it was a real pleasure. We arrived home to snow and a temperature of minus 3 and it's barely stopped snowing since! Once I can get the car out, I'll be able to go shopping and let you know how I get on with the recipes. Hope to come back someday soon xx

We visit at least once every time we visit PdC (4 times a year). Agree with everyone, Fantastic place. Like it so much we even have a link on our website to this retaurant. See you again at Easter.

We had three fabulous meals here over Christmas and New Year. Delicious food, friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves food, whether spicy or not. We hope to see you soon. Yours, Robin and Heather.

Me and my family have know mike and emma since the old emmas bar in club del carmen. Was great that we were able to find you in the end. Food was great, told the people who own the irish bar we go to all the time and they said that they might come up when they get a free evening. just to say that the food was excellent, i have never tasted food like that!!! Will be coming again in september when we come over.

Its been nearly 2 months now since my wife and I were on the island. We are now beginning to think about our next holiday, and have to say that your restaurant is a major factor in encouraging us to return to PDC. We are great fans of Mexican food, and I have to say that your meals were not only the best food on the island, but the best Mexican food we have ever had. I have recommended you to everyone I know that goes to PDC, hopefully we will still be able to get a table when we return! Hope you are all keeping well.

Having choose a last minute holiday, myself and my partner Laura found this small gem hidden away near to our hotel and what can I say, Amazing!
To say that it made our holiday is an understatement!!
It was that good that we went again on our last night prior to catching our flight.
We're looking forward to going back and we've only just left.

Barbarella - serves you right for going to a 'pseudo' mexican restaurant. Look forward to seeing you soon for some proper grub.

Mike & Emma - I have just come back from a Mexican restaurant (no names mentioned!) in CC Aquario on the other side of PDC, and oh my goodness, you would not believe how BAD this experience was compared to eating at Emmas!

Okay, the food was edible and fairly pleasant, and if you have never eaten at Emmas you would not know that this was actually bad Mexican food.

However, I *have* eaten at Emmas before so I know what Mexican food should be like quality-wise. And this was NOTHING compared to Emmas!

I am looking forward to having a *proper* Mexican meal at your Cantina again soon!!!

BE WARNED - November 23rd I'm back on the island for two weeks, Paula get the wedges ready and Mike I'll have my usual cocktail if you'd be kind enough to oblige.

Having been to PDC for the last 12 years, sometimes twice a year, we only discovered this wonderful little restaurant in September of this year. We are lovers of mexican food but never bother with the other so-called Mexican Restaurants in PDC as having eaten in them before we were not impressed. However our experience here was quite the opposite. What a wonderful little restaurant serving fabulous and delicious food. Although against authenticity I was even provided with a side serving of grated cheese for my fajitas! The ambience, service and hospitality were second to none and we cannot wait to return on our next visit. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We found Emma's after reading a recommendation in our Villa's guest book on our 2nd last night. We had a wonderful meal, I though the gucamole was the most amazing I had ever tasted, so fresh and lovely. We enjoyed our meal so much, we went back the next night (our last night) and had another amazing dinner. I had the ribs and I have to say they are the best ever.
