We had to go twice the food was that good. The Ribs are the best we have ever tasted!

After finding out about Emma's Cantina on tripadvisor we decided to make the trip to the restuarant. We were not disappointed one bit. Food was the best we had while in Lanzarote - so good we visited twice. I would highly recommend the Nacho's and the Chile Con Carne. Keep up the good work guys.

After reading good reviews of this restaurant on Trip Advisor we decided to visit on our first full day in Puerto Del Carmen.
I'm so glad we did because we ended up going there to eat 3 times in the week were there!
The sample of the chipotle suace brought to us on our first visit had me at the first taste. Absolutely delicious!
Mike explained that Emma makes the sauce fresh every day using all fresh ingredients, and it shows!
We had nachos and ribs and every mouthful was a delight.
On our second visit we had the tostada tinga - flavours to die for!!!
We also had the nachos and chicken fajitas which were incredibly tasty.
On our third visit we ate the same again - just couldn't resist those flavours. Each time we drank frozen Margaritas - absolutely delicious!
The restaurant was pretty busy on our last night there but Mike and Paola still took time to chat to us. This made our enjoyable experience even better.
As expected I am now suffering withdrawal symptoms!
The food at Emma's was by far the best Mexican food we have ever tasted. Don't be tempted to eat at one of the inferior "Tex-Mex" places in the New Town. Go for the real thing. Honestly it is so worth it!

just back from a weeks holiday in lanzarote,we dined twice in emmas and the food was amazing! and the staff were spot on aswell.next time we return to lanzarote we will definately be coming here for dinner.

Hello Mike. After coming out to see you frequently it's now been a year since the last time. We've been working our little Fajitas off and are now having serious Chilli Rojo and Tequilla withdrawals. The only thing spicier is the warmth of your hospitality see you in the summer!! ...Lots and Lots we hope. I'll bring a spicy Scotch for you again. Cheers

Fabulous meal, great, great service and a wonderful ambience for my wife's birthday meal.

I highly recommend Emma's.

Having visited Lanzarote numerous times previously we had until my birthday on 04 Feb 2011 never been to Emma's before. Having now been I cannot believe we hadn't been before. The food is not only fantastic, the presentation of the food on the plate is a joy to be seen. The whole experience was fantastic even down to Mike being concerned when my wife explained that the chilli was hotter than expected that he personally got her a glass of milk to compensate the heat.
The staff, the ambience, the food all make the visit to Emmas extremely pleasant. All I can say is we will be back to Lanzarote in November and will be at Emmas again.

just a note to say that we had the most amazing experience on our 1st wedding anniversary at emma's cantina. The food was
mind blowing and it really made our anniversary. Many thanks to all the staff and those margaritas was fantastic.
Hope to come back again very soon.

Just home from Lanzarote and had to log on to express our thanks. We visited Emma's 3 times, the 1st time my Dad was feeling faint due to too much sun and they were all very kind and understand (my husband and I enjoyed our meal)The other two occasions my parents joined us and I'm pleased to say we all enjoyed a lovely meal. Lovely food, great atmosphere and wonderful staff. For anyone that has never been to a Mexican, this is the place to start. They fully explain the menu and the strenght/heat of the meals. I will highly recommend anyone I know visting Lanzarote to visit this Mexican for a truly unforgettable meal/evening. Many thanks

Just back home from Lanza, we always visit Emmas, the food is excellent and the service is frist class. This is a real must visit for an excellent meal with a friendly welcome and all at an exceptional cost...........oh and just the best wines too. Thanks again Mike & Emma xx

Their in a fortnight and cannot wait, we always pay a visit, simply because Emma produces the best Mexican food on the island bar none, Mike excels at front of house and is a genuinely sincere chap, and all said it adds up to a wonderful friendly restaurant with an atmosphere that can only be attained through the personnal touch, and well worth a visit.
